Can the hollowing of temples go away once discontinuing Botox or Will this be a permanent deformation? I receive Botox for migraines
Answer: Hollowing of Temples and Botox The amount of hollowing after botox is minimal unless there is large amounts used consistently over time. Fillers can be used to improve this. All effects of botox are reversible upon stopping the treatment. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Botox causing hollowing of temples? Botox injections can be very helpful in some patients with migraines. Botox injections temporarily weaken muscles in the temples or forehead; in some patients, this can make the muscle reduce in size an unmask hallows or irregularities in the skull beneath. Any effect should reduce over time as the botox fades. If these injection points are necessary to treat your migraines, a filler may be able to reduce the effect of the hallowing while maintaining the ability to continue have botox treatments in these areas.

Answer: Solutions for hollowing of temples Thank you for your question. The hollowing of temples is not a deformation of Botox but instead a result of aging for some women. I would recommend getting injectable fillers which are designed to replace volume lost by your face, resulting in a prematurely aged appearance. The fillers can correct many signs of aging caused by a loss of volume, including: Hollows under the eye Tear troughs Sunken cheeks Nasolabial folds (sometimes called parenthesis lines around the mouth) Some injectable fillers include: Restylane & Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra, Belotero and Selphyl. If you are interested I recommend consulting with a qualified physician for a full consultation.

Answer: Can the hollowing of temples go away once discontinuing Botox? Hollowing of the temples is from facial aging, not from Botox. You may need filler in that area and you have to go to somebody who is experienced!! In an inexperienced person's treating this area can be a disaster. Be careful, got an email and please look at only doing reversible hyaluronic acid fillers in that area.
