After cataract surgery, upper eyelid ptosis is relatively common. Generally we advise waiting 6 months before deciding on ptosis surgery. Occasionally I see a patient whose vision was impaired and guess what? After cataract surgery, they begin to notice all sorts of things because their vision is a whole lot better. Best to see an oculoplastic specialist.
