I have had 1ml filler to my infraorbital region which has helped give me a more refreshed, plump look. I still find I have a noticeable depression, however, though it is closer to under my eye than the junction between my under eye and cheek. How close to the eye can filler be placed? What would improve my under eye further?
Answer: Tear troughs filler Dear larajanie,Yes, filler can be injected in the tear trough area. This is a high risk areas so be sure you go to someone well trained such as a plastic surgeon. I will tell you, some of the results I have in my office with filling these areas are extremely satisfying.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: PRP injections Hi @larajanie! I recommend PRP injections. PRP which stands for Platelet Rich Plasma is a natural and non-surgical solution to treat under eye circles and bags. PRP is highly effective for restoring sunken eyes. Generally, two vials of blood will be collected from the patient and placed into a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins and separates the platelets from the rest of the blood components. The plasma contains the valuable collagen and growth factors from the rest of the blood's components. The plasma is then drawn up into a syringe and injected in the tear trough area. Typically, 3 sessions is adequate for optimal results.

Answer: Fillers Under Eyes Hello, Thank you for your question and photo. Based on what can be seen here, you would benefit with some filler under the eye. With the use of a cannula, you can get pretty close to the under eye to correctly fill that area. Make sure that you consult with a local physician who has experience with this type of fill. Good luck!

Answer: Tear Trough Filler Results with Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk)--add Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP Yes, filler can be placed in the margin between under eye and cheek. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: How close to the eye can tear trough filler be placed? Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. You can place filler up to the junction of the lid with the cheek and it does appear that you obtained a very nice result. I would recommend continued filler placement into the lower portion of your left eye but otherwise enjoy your results! Hope this helps.
