If my nose was crooked and still crooked after rhinoplasty can i do a second rhinoplasty to be more straight?

I had rhinoplasty about 2 weeks ago because it was crooked and had a hump and the hump was almost 100% removed but I'm still not happy with how it looks, it's still crooked and I really want it to be straight. If I have another rhinoplasty can this make it straight?

Thank you for your question.Your surgery seems beneficial when compared the preoperative situation. It is possible to say that you got well result even so still too early for final evaluation. You need at least six months for evaluation of the surgery result . A new surgical plan can be done when needed in future. But I recommend you to have follows up by your doctor.

It is too soon to make a decision about having another surgery. You are very early in the healing process and the appearance of your nose will continue to change in the following months. You can ask your surgeon if he has any instructions on manipulating the deviation. You may also like how your nose will be within a few months. You should wait at least 1 year before deciding to have another rhinoplasty.

Hello!Thank you for pictures and question! My recommendation would be to hold of on any surgery, you are still at an extremely early stage in your recovery process and the final look of your nose will continue to subtly change. You may still have swelling on the nose and its surrounding areas. It takes about a year for your nose to fully heal. It's too soon to tell what your final results will be. You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose and under eyes take the time to heal. It can take up a year for your final results. I hope this helps.

You have to give yourself some more healing time.  Your nose and surrounding areas are going to be swollen for a while and you should be consulting the surgeon that performed the procedure. However, give yourself some time before going back in so some of it can subside. It can take up to a year for final results.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your anxiety, but you are at a very early stage of your recovery. As the healing happens, and this can take up to one year, the final shape of the nose will become apparent. So you should wait but contact your surgeon if any ongoing concerns.

A deviated nose can be very difficult to get perfectly straight because of memory of some of the tissue within the nose.  Post-operative management is a very important part of achieving a nose that is as straight as possible.  Speak to your surgeon about whether your deviation was addressed during surgery.  If it was, what you're seeing could be due to swelling, in which case, there are ways to deal with this.  Your surgeon would know best based on your particular case.
