I’ve been insecure about the distance between my eyes for quite some time and I’ve been seeing mixed things on if rhinoplasty can fix or help this issue so I’m just wondering what’s the truth
Answer: Eye distance The distance between eyes is extraordinarily hard to adjust in reality but can be adjusted to create the illusion of closer or nearer eyes. As a general rule of thumb the eyes should be about one eye apart from each other. -Raising bridge- will make eyes appear closer-Lowering bridge- will make eyes appear further apart-Widening nasal bone will make eyes appear closer-Narrowing nasal bones will make eyes appear further apartOf course changing your nose may have other aesthetic consequences. Seek advice from a facial plastic surgeon. Best Dr. Anil Shah

Answer: Eyes and nose Although a higher nasal dorsum can give the look of close-set eyes, you already have a high nasal dorsum. You would have to add a good amount of height for a more dramatic difference but adding this height will make your nose appear very unnatural and disproportionate. It is not recommended that you make a nice natural feature appear unnatural in order to approve the appearance of a different area, particularly in the face. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Answer: Can a dorsal augmentation rhinoplasty help make my eyes look closer together First of all, your nose does not need dorsal augmentation, so it's best to leave well enough alone. The distance between the eyeballs is permanently set by the bony eyesockets and cannot be changed

Answer: Dorsal Augmentation and Eye Distance In theory dorsal augmentation (and derotation of the nasal tip in your case) could help make the eyes appear less wide...although this is not a completely predictable effect. Unfortunately computer imaging can not show whether such an effect could occur because that can only be seen in the front view image of which it is hard to accurately show what happens when the dorsum is elevated. Such an effect is most likely to occur when the dorsal augmentation is significant which in your case would be considered as such.
