I have had a back injury when I was young and never felt confident to use skin tight clothing because people ask me what's wrong with my back. I want to see what procedure I can do to correct this look. I don't want a procedure that changes my bone just maybe smooth my back and bottom to look more balanced. If I bend it makes my bottom look square. Any help is appreciated.

Answer: Lower back contour Your picture does not give enough information to make a good assessment and therefore limits potential procedure recommendations. I suggest consulting with local board-certified plastic surgeons to have an examination. If the area represents a mass then the first step would be to determine what that mass represents which can be done with an ultrasound. if the mass represents a lipoma then direct surgical excision is most appropriate. If it’s a fluid collection with scar tissue capsule formation than that would be treated similar to a lipoma. If it is directly related to just fat distribution then Liposuction may solve the problem. If there is an indentation then surrounding Liposuction or fat transfer in the area of defect may help. Different plastic surgeons will have different opinions and choosing the provider and what procedure you up for should be based on having a thorough discussion during a few in person consultations for the local board-certified plastic surgeons.
