I had a bbl 2 years ago. Right off the bat, I noticed the fat was injected very high and once it settled, it left 2 noticeable dents on both my c. I went for a follow up with my doctor and he tried telling me the fat died there but the photos right after surgery show he did not even inject fat there to begin with and is offering a second round at only a 10% discount so I am not willing to go back to him. My question is would filler help and how much? I would want to avoid another bbl
Answer: BBL results Dear pushi, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: BBL It is difficult to give an accurate estimate on the amount of filler needed without examining your specific case, but filler could potentially be a solution to address the dents caused by your previous bbl. However, it is important to note that fillers have a temporary effect and may need to be repeated every several months or years, depending on the type of filler used and your body's reaction to it. It's also important to choose a reputable and experienced injector who can accurately assess your needs and determine the best type of filler for you. Depending on the severity of the dents, a combination of different fillers may be needed, which would increase the cost. Overall, a consultation with an experienced injector would be the best way to determine if fillers are a good option for you and how much they would cost. Best of luck !

Answer: Non surgical options to correct a BBL Based on your photos and your post, I think you should look into a Sculptra BBL in order to correct those areas. Sculptra is not your typical HA filler in that it does not provide immediate results. It is a collagen stimulator and works over a course of weeks to months to augment areas of the body. You may need multiple treatments to get your desired results but I believe it works really well especially in patients that are looking to correct or augment smaller areas as opposed to their entire buttock. A second BBL is also an option but just wanted to give you a non-surgical route. There is little to no down time and the procdure is rather quick with minimal discomfort.

Answer: Would filler correct dents or should I consider a revision? 2 years post op Brazilian butt lift Though you posted 3 photos, they are not unclothed to see complete body so very hard to tell if you have any more donor fat to use? I think a BBL Revision/Reshaping operation with BBL injections of Radiesse/Sculptra (10 vials) in a combination under ultrasound guided removal of over injected fat in upper hips/flanks/buttock with more lipo if available in body and reshaping fat injections are the answer. Fee from $6,000-$10,000... Best to virtual consult with....

Answer: BBL results Fillers are price prohibitive for doing body contouring. Delivering consistent quality, and Liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe. The number of plastic surgeons who truly deliver consistent quality results is relatively few. For this reason I suggest patient to be very selective in choosing providers. I suggest patients do this by having at least five in person consultations before choosing a provider. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of the previous patient had similar body characteristics for your own. Make sure after pictures were taken at least 3 to 6 months from the date of the procedure to be representative. We cannot make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure without seeing proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Your surgical markings shows the surgeon, grafting fat higher on your buttocks consistent with your results. Personally, I don’t view the BBL as a buttocks procedure, but rather part of body contouring, trying to create a feminine S-curve that goes from just below the armpit to just above the knees. The goal should be to create a perfect and accentuated S-curve. Do you still have the potential to get a quality outcome. Patient should be far more selective of provider selection, and then they think necessary. Recognize that a substantial number of plastic surgeons have not mastered either Liposuction or fat transfer. Indentation related to cellulite are not treated by fat transfer and can be made worse by fat transfer. The ability to make accurate assessment regarding patient candidacy is a large part of delivering consistent by patient satisfaction. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
