The tumescence fluid used in liposuction is Lidocaine, for numbing for comfort and Epinephrine, to minimize blood loss. The fat cells are not actually fragmented with this solution. There are other devices, like ultrasound, that can be used to help fragment the fat prior or with liposuction,

 There are only two variables that matter when it comes to liposuction and fat transfer procedures.  These two single variables are equally as important and represent everything patients should be worried about or concerned about.  There’s no possible way you can learn all the nuances of this procedure. You can try but you don’t even have the ability to differentiate what’s important and what’s not.  Please don’t see this as being spoken down to.  The only variables that matter are the candidacy of the patient and who does the procedure.  Some people wash the fat some people don’t.
