I posted on here that I was interested in getting 500cc moderate plus silicone implants. I'm 4'11 and around 115-118 pounds. Most people seemed to think the 500cc would be too large for my frame. So I went back to try on implants again. I took a picture of the 500cc. Does it make me look top heavy like everyone was thinking? Everything else seemed too small :(.
Answer: 4' 11" with 500cc implants Good morning! These questions are always difficult to answer without an exam-but speaking in broad categories, a 500cc implant on someone less than 5 feet tall can in many instances make you look overweight on clothing. It potentially can be simply too much upper torso volume on a small frame that can make you look out of proportion.I suggest you have another visit with your PS and have a frank discussion about what he/she thinks would be best for your body type and breast tissue envelope. I hope this helps

Answer: Does 500cc make me look top heavy? Thank you for the question. Online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, in bra sizers, and computer imaging) as well as careful measurements (dimensional planning) will be critical.Given that your surgery is coming up soon, I would suggest that you spend additional time communicating your goals/concerns directly with your plastic surgeon, preferably prior to the date of surgery.Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of know words such as “natural” or "D or DD cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.I hope this (and the attached link/video, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Too big Based on your height and weight it would seem that 500cc is s bit too big for your tissues to handle. Keep in mind the stretch that implants impart to breast tissue and the long term effects on the look. You are better off staying in a more moderate range that fits your dimensions

Answer: 500cc Moderate plus? Hopefully your surgeon is guiding you in the process since one picture is not enough to provide you with much information. The only thing that I can say is that the 500cc moderate plus is a pretty wide implant for a 4'11 frame. Unless you have a BWD ( breast width) over 14.3cm, which would be unusual for someone 4'11, you most likely would need a HP device instead. I would discuss this with your board certified plastic surgeon and make sure they are measuring you and then using that information to help guide the implant choice. I hope this helps.

Answer: Too big Here's the issue with large breasts on small women -- it will take away your waist! Large breasts will sit lower on your chest. You already have a short waist because you are petitie. With that big implant, it will take away even more of your waist and now you have no curves. You have to take everything in to account when considering breast size -- go for something smaller. Good luck!
