Hi.I had an otoplasty a few days ago and i was wondering is it ok to have sex or masturbate or should i wait?

Hi. All scars on any part of the body reach their maximum tension after 2 months. This means you can sleep how you like now without compromising the otoplasty results. I would recommend to use a hair band at nigth for the first 2 months. Hope this was helpful.

I recommend to my patients waiting 3 weeks before they return to any strenuous activity including exercise. Exertion before this time may result in more swelling and bruising and a longer recovery. After three weeks it is fine to return to the gym and lifting weights.
