Yes, Sculptra is an excellent filler. That said, to the best of my knowledge there is not so much reported as using it for filling of the labia majora as you are requesting. Fat is commonly used here. Alternatively, an HA filler like restylane and Juvederm may be less expensive and may give you the results that you are seeking.
Sculptra is not ideal for the labia majora and its use would be off-label. Fat grafting is an excellent alternative. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
I find that fat grafting is the best options here and have great success. However, I have used sculptra, and other hyaluronic acid fillers and they all work well. The best long term options to maintain the filler is radiofrequency tightening such as Venus legacy or velashape. I suggest finding a physician with experience in this to treat you as many compliations can occur if not done by a well trained physician. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi Sea. Sculptra is typically injected very near the bone in the facial structure and we do not know of many practices using it for rejuvenation of the labia majora. Instead we prefer Hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane and Perlane. This is an excellent option for bringing volume back to this area and we also provide laser resurfacing and lightening of the skin as part of our full package of vaginal rejuvenation procedures.
There is no connection between sculptra injections and the development or worsening of autoimmune diseases. i would discuss this with your cosmetic dermatologist who can also speak to your treating physician.
Proposed answer: There are a few different fillers that can be used to treat unsightly scars. Restylane and Juvederm are commonly used to treat deep acne scars, seeing as you were not satisfied with the results I would recommend you see a board-certified doctor that can evaluate you and talk to...
Sculptra can take a while to see results but it is by far one of the best volumizers on the market if used properly. In general, you need one vial per decade of life. So, if you're 45-55, then 5 vials are just right. Again, this is in general, and may vary. For 5 vials, you have 2 done the...
I find the results of sculptra are typically 3-5 years and after that if you do not continue injections, you will go back to your normal aging. Most of my patients get sculptra on a regular basis to maintain their results and fight against the aging process. If you are uneven, there...
Sculptra is made of a substance called poly-L-lactic acid. Plastic surgeons are very familiar with this substance because it is used to make a very popular absorbable suture trade named Vicryl. These sutures are loved and hated by surgeons like myself. They are strong, hold...
Sculptra is a great option as it replaces lost collagen and gradually gives you a more youthful and natural look without making it obvious you’ve had any work done. It provides a natural-looking appearance subtly over time for the patients that want to restore volume to the face, sunken cheeks a...
