I have a micropenis, considering surgery. When flaccid, it looks I have no penis. Your thoughts please? (photo)

Thank you for your question in the photo. While this is difficult to correct, what has been successful in my practice is the combination of either liposuction or resection of redundant tissue above the penis along with fat grafting to the penis. Of course, a proper evaluation would need to be in order to be able to make this recommendation with more confidence.

From the pictures it is difficult to tell what can be done. It depends on many factors:
1. How much of this is because of excess skin and fat covering your penis?
2. What is restricting the penis from coming out?
3. What causes the retraction,
4.How much penis shaft do you have?
5. Other factors

You have to be seen by a plastic surgeon for evaluation.

Excision of redundant skin, fat and webs surrounding the penis may permit greater exposure of the buried penis. If a stretching device may then be attached up to an additional 1/2 inch of length may be obtained with time.

First and foremost, a complete evaluation is needed, especially a look at your hormone panel.  And more than likely, no matter what it shows, some kind of testosterone stimulation or replacement would be a good start.  As for surgery, you aren't going to see much at all as far as an increase in erect size.  So be aware!  There are too many providers pushing "false" claims out there! 

Thank you for your question and photographs.  There is a range of normal penile lengths.  If one's penis is truly small, one reason could be hormonal and I would recommend evaluation. However, a penis may appear smaller because a man may have a penile web or hidden penis, which is also known as buried penis.  These conditions are typically the result of anatomic issues that prevent the penis from fully being seen.The outpatient surgical techniques that I use to address these issues are ones that I developed and have presented my techniques and results at national and international meetings. These types of penile enhancement surgeries can provide increased visible length without the associated complications of penile lengthening operations.
A penis may also appear smaller due to redundant penile skin requiring a cosmetic circumcision revision.  The outpatient surgical technique that I use to address these issues is one that I developed and have presented my techniques and results at national and international meetings.

I would recommend a consultation with an experienced Cosmetic Urologist for an evaluation even if this requires traveling.  Some surgeons offer virtual evaluation through encrypted services, which is an option prior to traveling to meet the surgeon for consultation.
