They presented this technology at a conference on 9/30/13. Below is a link to the presentation and the technology. It appears it uses radio frequency energy and they claim it's a better alternative and more precise than miradry with less side affects.

Not sure about Alma but miraDry should have a palm applicator that is FDA approved by the end of next year.  If it is anywhere near as effective as it is in the armpits, it will be worth waiting for!

As far as I know, as of this writing this procedure is not FDA approved and not on the market. I am very sure that several companies are looking at alterntive technologies to treat palmar hyperhidrosis in a safe manner without injury to arteries, veins or sensory and motor nerves in the hands.
