Which miraDry level should I get?

In our office we normally do the first treatment at level 3 and move up to level 4 for the second treatment. The initial Miradry studies were done on level 2 and when the company did a second study on level 3 and 4 realized that the overall sweat reduction was much better and recommend starting at a higher level. You will still see a reduction at level 2 but since you are getting only two treatments why not get them done at a higher level with better results.

When I first started doing miraDry, we used lower levels at the corners of the 'eye' shaped axilla to avoid nerve injjury as there was 1 reported case of ulnar nerve injury from a dermatological practice in NY City according to the company. The miraDry company REPROGRAMMED the machine so that it delivers less energy at the corners of the treatment area so injury risk is reduced. SO, I almost always perform the 2 treatments at the highest level, which is level 5. TALK to the doctor performing the procedure to get this type of info, not the secretarial staff.
