I got microneedling done 48 hours ago. I noticed hardly any redness or pinpoint bleeding that day. The next day my skin became pink and irritated and itchy, today my skin is bright red and covered with bumps everywhere. How should I proceed? Is this permanent? The depth was 1mm-2mm.

Hi, thank you for the photos. Don't worry - it looks completely normal and you have not ruined your skin. Microneedling causes a lot of trauma to the skin, so it is normal for severe redness, swelling, pigmentation, and even bruising. Please allow 2 full weeks to fully settle and heal.
