Why is one boob larger than the other after breast aug?

Question

I had a breast augmentation almost two months ago. My left breast dropped nicely but I've had trouble with my right. After massaging it has dropped more but still looks noticeable smaller than the left. I had one implant that was 365 and one that was 335. I can't remember which was which. Is this my final result?

AT two months it is unusual to see the degree of size asymmetry that you have.   I would definitely discuss with your surgeon.  Most women (90%) have breast asymmetry who have never had surgery. I would go over your preop pictures with your surgeon, and which implant was placed in each breast. It appears quite possible that you will need to change the implant sizes in order to gain better symmetry, but you still need to wait until the six month mark.  Things can still change.

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photograph.  Though final results may take up to 6 months to achieve I would recommend speaking with your surgeon about your concerns.  They can best provide reassurance and information as to which implant was used in each breast as well as the status of your current healing.  Hope that this helps

Your answer may simply lie in difference between your implant sizes. It is likely that your small breast has smaller implant in it.

Thank you very much for your question.At 2 months, you still have some healing and implant settling to go, but probably not too much more.  I recommend you discuss your thoughts with your surgeon.  They will let you know what your implants are, and what can be done to correct the asymmetry at the appropriate time.

Thank you for your question and photo.  I agree that there is a significant asymmetry at 2 months.  I think it best that she is seeing your plastic surgeon for an examination.  Possibilities include that the breast implant pocket was not dissected as large on the right side but it is important for you to have your plastic surgeon examine you to make certain that she do not have a capsular contracture although it would be early for that.  Also check your preoperative photos with her degree of asymmetry that she had before surgery.
