Microneedling Post Care?

Question

Many post-microneedling care instructions suggest using a gentle cleanser and mineral sunscreen from the second day onward. My question is, should I use a makeup remover to remove sunscreen? If so, what kind/brand of makeup remover is gentle enough for use after the procedure? Thank you.

There is no need to use makeup remover for sunscreen. After a microneeding session you should use a gentle cleanser, hyaluronic acid serum, and a light layer of aquaphor for the first 24 hours. Avoid direct sunlight, working out, and makeup for 48 hours. Going forward SPF should be applied to the face every morning.

Hi, thank you for your question! I would recommend just using gentle cleanser for a week after microneedling. A makeup wipe may irritate the skin after microneedling.
