Fortunately, there is not too many contraindications to getting Coolsculpting, but there are a few to keep in mind. One would be if you were on a lot of prescription blood thinner then that is a contraindication. With the Coolsculpting, the initial suctioning can produce large amount of bruising. The second contraindication fall into one category, consist of your body inability to handle cold. So if you have a diagnosis of Raynaud's syndrome, or Cryoglobuliemia that means your hemoglobin clumps when it’s exposed to cold then you would not be a candidate for Coolsculpting. But these diagnosis usually you had in the past so you would know or if you’re someone who absolutely can’t tolerate anything cold and actually have medical issues with it, you would not be a good a candidate for Coolsculpting. The last contraindication, if you actually have an open wound, sore, irritation severe rash in the area to be treated that may also be a contraindication.
