Hi @Reniece! Great question--Restylane Lyft works great to address the temple area. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications.
For hollowing temples, I prefer Sculptra. This is not a typical "filler" where results are immediate. Sculptra has microparticles that work by stimulating growth of your own collagen around them. The growth of that collagen is how it increases volume and is also why the result is gradual and more subtle. The more volume you need, the more treatments are necessary. In general, 3-6 treatments are needed and the outcome of each treatment is usually visible by 2-3 months after that treatment. If your concern is not hollowing, but something more superficial like masking veins, the hyaluronic acid fillers, allofill, or fat injections are great.
Hello,Thank you for your question. The answer varies from patient to patient. One of our favorites is Sculptra for the temples because it gives a very soft fill with lift and long lasting results. Please consult with a local physician to determine if you are a candidate for this. Good luck!
There are many fillers which work in this area. I often use autogenous fat. It looks and feels natural. Often this region requires 2-4 syringes of conventional filler on each side. Sculptra and radiesse and Bellafill are other options for this area. Bellafill can last up to 5 years.
I mostly use Sculptra and Voluma for the temples, but Radiesse, Restylane Lyft, and others are options as well. Bruising is possible but mostly this is a well tolerated treatment.
I do fat injections, but if someone is not willing, radiesse with sculptra is much better than either alone for significant changes. You can try juvederma ultraplus or lyft but they require more tubes for improvement. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
I would not say that there is one best filler for the temple area, as there are a variety of fillers that could be used for that area. If you wanted to use a filler that would have an immediate effect, I would recommend Voluma, as I think it would be the longest lasting. If you wanted something that would last longer, but require several treatment sessions, I would recommend Sculptra.
Filler products intended for deep spaces are best for the temples. These include Voluma and Radiesse. Sculptra is also very popular for the temple area and provides a nice result. Sculptra takes longer to achieve the result because it takes time for it to stimulate the body's own collagen. But once it does, the result is longer lasting.
I prefer using Sculptra Aesthetic for the temples. Sculptra is consist of PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) particles which stimulate collagen production. Hyaluronic acid based fillers such as Restylane Lyft and Juvederm Voluma would work too but more syringes would be required.
Thanks for the great question! I tend to prefer the firmer, longer lasting fillers for the temple area like Voluma or Restylane Lyft. I've had great results with both in many patients. Best,~Dr. Sieber
It is a little hard to tell from the photos where the swelling is, as we don't have a before photo. Swelling is not uncommon and can take up to a week to 10 days to settle down. If at that point you are still dissatisfied, please consult your injector. It is possible to dissolve the fill...
Sometimes bruising can last a long time. Before trying something expensive and potentially aggressive such as laser try a cream with vitamin C or phytic acid. Either of these agents will remove the iron pigment from the skin, although not immediately. Give it about three months to work its way...
Thank you for your question. Yes, it is possible to use dermal fillers to replace bone loss. I have used Restylane Lyft, Bellafill, Radiesse, and Voluma along the jaw with good success. I have also used micronized fat (ALMI) combined with PRP along the jaw line.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
