Is it possible to have a lip lift revision 8 months post op? (Photo)

Had a lip lift October of 2024. Within 4 or 5 months, it started drooping. It has been almost 8 months now and the philtrum length is between 19 - 20 mm. The length was 20 mm to start! I wanted 7mm removed. The surgeon felt 5 was more appropriate. When it was first done, I was happy with it, even if it wasn't as much as I would have liked. Is it possible to do again? or too soon to do again?

Yes, you can have a repeat lip lift done. The technique I use is an eccentric lip lift. This technique excises more laterally and less centrally, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

5 mm is conservative, and more can be taken.  And some relapse is common, Measuring from center of columella directly down to the red part of the lip, you want at least 10 mm.  In women older tan 40 or so, I leave more like 12 mm - 13mm.
