Fever post cool sculpting?

Question

I had coolsculpting on my lower and upper abs on 1st and 5th May with large applicator and on side flakes, on 2nd and 3rd May respectively. Further I developed lumps in three areas and hard rock in upper abdomen 12 cm length and 3 cm width (In sonography) and swelling on belly. 11th onwards I had fever. All the tests been reported normal, only showing inflammation in lumps. Doctor says the inflammation causing fever for last 20 days. Is it normal?

Thank you for your question. In my experience no one has ever had such a reaction to the treatment, it is likely unrelated. I suggest following up with your provider and visiting your doctor.

I have not had any patients develop fever after CoolSculpting.  I have also not had patients develop lumps afterwards, as you have.  So, I would say that your experience has not been normal compared with patients that I have treated.

There should be no correlation to Coolsculpting and or fever.  Possibly  this is how your body responds to the treatment, however this far out, that would be unlikely.  Contact treating office for a follow up.
