I had my facelift 6 weeks ago . I want to know when I can go back to the gym to do my lower and upper body resistance training. I specifically use resistance machines more than free weights. As far as my symptoms I still have tingling and nerve healing.

Answer: Exercise after lower facelift You should ask your surgeon, as everyone has different protocol for their patients. In general, I tell my patients they can start working out again 3 to 4 weeks after their facelift. When you do return to the gym, I strongly recommend you ease back into your workouts and do not rush into them at the same intensity as before your surgery. However, before you do resume exercise please check in with your surgeon and get a more precise date from him.

Answer: Return to Gym 6 Weeks After Lower Facelift? As others have noted, make sure that you clear any changes in activity with your Surgeon. With my patients, I expect that they stay away from weight lifting and major straining for 4 weeks after a Facelift. A return to cardio activity is usually acceptable at 2 weeks.
