i have hooded eyes and hate the way it makes me look tired or angry. would i be a candidate for a botox brow lift? i had botox about 4 years ago and i remember it making my eyebrows very heavy
Answer: Yes You could certainly try a botox brow lift! Make sure that you specifically ask that this is what you want to treat. Most likely, your brows were heavy because you got your forehead horizontal lines injected (frontalis), which is a brow elevator, so by paralyzing it, it was not able to elevate your brows as much. If you want to focus on lifting them, you should only have your brow depressors targeted. Good luck!

Answer: Botox brow lift A brow lift with Botox is a great place to start! This will provide a conservative lift to give a fresher, rested look to the eyes. The treatment is done in the office with final results seen after two weeks. The effects will gradually fade over three to four months. If the results do not create an acceptable improvement to you, you can consider an upper blepharoplasty to remove excess skin.

Answer: Botox Brow Lift You could definitely start with some botox at the lateral aspect of the brow for a subtle lift -- however, I do not believe this will give you as dramatic as a result as you are hoping for. You should also be cautious about getting a full treatment of botox in the forehead because that can unfortunately make your hooded eyes more prominent. I would see an advanced injector for in depth consultation and discuss attempt at trying botox brow lift but keep in mind that the mainstay treatment for this is a surgical procedure called upper blepharoplasty or potentially a brow lift (I am unable to see full face in the photo so cannot be certain which would be better option for you). Hope this helps!

Answer: Improving Hooded Eyelids -- Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Jeuveau for Brow Lift, Fillers, RF (Thermage, Legacy, Viva), Blepharoplasty For significant improvement, hooded eyelids require surgery if there is enough skin. For nonsurgical treatments: Radiofrequency (Thermage or Venus Legacy/Viva), injectable fillers, and a Botox brow lift can help contour the eyebrows and lift the eyelid skin. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Botox Brow Lift To know whether you are a good candidate for a botox brow lift we would have to see you raising your eyebrows. If botox made your brows feel heavy, most likely too much was placed in the forehead. You are an excellent candidate for Botox brow design. I have attached a link to my Botox Before and Afters where you can see my brow design cases. If you are ever in Miami, Fl we would love to help.
