How do I achieve a V line with Botox? (Photo)

Question

Hello, I'm around 42kg and I've had botox on my masseter to reduce my square jaw and I wanted a V-Line without getting more chin fillers. when I first got Botox I only asked for half the dose because I don't have a lot of facial fat and I was afraid my cheeks will shrink in. But even with half of the dose, my jaw became uneven and my cheeks shrunk and hollowed. I wanna know what the right injection points are to achieve a nice V line without shrinking in my cheeks ?

Thank you for your question and for providing photos. When injected into the masseter muscle, Botox should adequately slim your jawline to achieve a more V-like contour. Dermal fillers are also a favorable solution for contouring the jawline and creating an elegant, well-defined appearance. If you’ve been unsatisfied with injectable solutions, you can also consider a microneedling treatment such as Profound RF to encourage your body’s collagen production and provide a lifted, tightened effect on your neck and jaw.

In general, getting neurotoxin for facial slimming will involve injecting the lower 1/3 of the masseter muscle along the jaw line. This should, over time, reduce the bulk of the muscle and produce facial slimming. However, this will only be along the jaw line and should not have much, if any, pronounced effect on the cheeks. Other things, like weight loss or gain, can accentuate or change these features. Different types of hyaluronic acid or other fillers may be able to help correct these issues.
