I'm 34F healthy, athletic. I am looking to get rid of my tummy projection. I have a strong core. Will I have abs after lipo? Photos below are flexing and relaxing. I am trying to understand what to expect from my results and if I'll be happy even with a forward pelvis.

Based on these photos, you are excellent candidate for a High Definition Liposuction.  Expertly done, this procedure is going to improve your already excellent core. However, despite the fact that many board certified plastic surgeons consider this technique simple, it requires quite an expertise. This is depending on what technique we are going to use. One can expect to have more definition from liposuction.  In your situation, my preferred method would be to use the Vaser and create a high definition look, according to your desires. So, yes, it is possible, but it will require a special technique and special marking before the operation.

Going to an experienced plastic surgeon will be crucial to get a high definition result after liposuction. What he or she uses to do that is irrelevant, e.g. Vaser, laser, or something else. Thank you for your question and photos. You can have well defined abs if you choose the right surgeon and right procedure. Most surgeons do fat reduction liposuction only and do not do body sculpting (as you can surmise from the previous answers). Body sculpting is revealing liposuction which brings out your underlying muscle and bony anatomy. You have the option of a High definition liposuction. High definition liposuction is a procedure reserved for athletic patients who find difficult to get abs. This procedure enhace your own anatomy creating more definition in your body. Part of the result is about the surgery, and the other part is about the patient postoperatory cares. Babors, I appreciate your concerns and it appears from your photos that you are an ideal candidate for micro liposuction abdominal region.
 As you know, the best candidates for liposuction are fit individuals that have defined areas of fat that are non-responsive to diet exercise. You appear to check all the boxes. You obviously have well developed abdominal muscles, however they are camouflaged by a layer of fat. Micro liposuction technique,  which utilizes small cannulas, will allow removal of maximal volume of fat in that area without leaving dents or other skin irregularities. Removal of this fat will allow your abdominal muscles to be seen much more clearly. Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to greatly increase your chances for the best possible result.
