I would like to get CoolSculpting done to my pubic mound. I have seen it can be used on the abdomen, can it be used lower?

CoolSculpting by Zeltiq is a very flexible system that allows us to eliminate fat in a wide variety of areas. I’ve had great success eliminating pubic mounds with CoolSculpting. You can eliminate about 30% of fat at a time, so it will probably take several sessions.  Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who can evaluate you to ensure that this is the best method for you.

Yes, CoolSculpting can be done on the public mound to reduce fat in the area with great success in the appropriate candidates. Most people will need 2-3 rounds of treatment in this area and results are optimized when combined with a skin tightening treatment. Great question and lot of people want to get that area treated. Coolsculpting can absolutely be done in that area as long as we are able to feel and pull the fat. The best determination would be after a consultation but short answer yes it can be done to treat the pubic area fat.

Yes, Coolsculpting can be performed in this area, but I've found that non-invasive treatments take many treatments to get improvement in this area. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. CoolSculpting is quite effective in reducing fat in multiple locations. To be effective, the fat in the area must be contained within the handpiece or applicator. If the applicator can be adequately applied to the area, it should work well. Please seek consultation with an experienced board certified Plastic Surgeon. 

Yes, there are several ways to address the pubic mounds. If the Coolsculpting applicator fits perfectly that is certainly a great option to treat the area non-surgically. The other off-label option to treat is use of Kybella in that area. I have actually done both Coolsculpting and Kybella and had very nice results.

Great question and YES!  There are many size coolsculpting applicators, if the amount of fat on the mons pubis fits into the applicator then you can freeze it.  I would recommend several treatments as the fat is this area is usually pretty dense.
