Hi doctors! I'm a 5'2 (158 cm), 121 lbs (54.5Kg), 34-year-old female. Due to some medications, I have had a couple weight fluctuations during my life, nothing over 10lbs until 3 years ago when one made me gain over 40 lbs (21Kg) within 6 months. After I stopped taking it, I began a slow and steady weight loss and I am now back to my normal weight, I work out (strength/cardio) almost every day, track macros, don’t drink or smoke. I was left with loose skin, but the worst area is my arms and armpits. I still plan to lose a few pounds of fat and gain a bit more muscle, so hopefully there will be an improvement but, I’m wondering if it’s best to wait until I’m done with body recomposition to address the loose skin or if I can start now that I’m very close to my desired weight. As for procedures, I’ve read about alternatives like a HIFU, monopolar RF, microneedling, morpheous, Renuvion, endolifting, and ablative/non-ablative laser resurfacing. Is there one technology or a combination that you would recommend in my case and that’s cost effective? Do you think those would be enough to avoid having an armpit brachioplasty? Thank you in advance for your time :)
