Hello - I would elect IPL instead, but don't have the downtime during my current work crunch with a lot of "public" time. My symptoms are mild flushing and a few postules, which have been flaring due to the work stress, so I was really hoping to find something that wouldn't require any recovery time. Thank you.
Answer: Improving Rosacea with Clear + Brilliant, peels and VBeam/Yellow lasers, Botox/Xeomin/Dysport Yes, I use Clear + Brilliant for patients with Rosacea. For rosacea, I like a combination approach, using lasers (ProYellow, Pulsed Dye/Vbeam, Excel V, Clear + Brilliant), peels and botox to the cheeks. This makes dramatic changes in color and symptoms. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Clear & Brilliant can definitely help with Rosacea. Recommend painting with vbeam as well. Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Clear and Brilliant and Rosacea C&B is not the best treatment for rosacea. It will deal with enlarged pores, pigment and improve skin texture, but does not address the redness/flushing associated with rosacea. If you have broken capillaries and inflammatory rosacea, I would suggest a laser like the NdYag (1064 nm wavelength). Dr. Anna Sylwestrowicz MD, FRCP(C) Victoria, BC

Answer: Clear and brilliant vs BBL Clear and Brilliant will not treat Rosacea. If your symptoms are mild I would encourage you to consult with a medical provider for prescription topical and possibly an oral medication. In addition to prescription medications you should consider BBL treatments by Sciton. This type of light source can help with the mild inflammation and pimples as well. Hope this helps.
