Thank you for your question. Since it has only been 3 months, I would give it more time before you do anything. The fat can still change at this point. If you are still unsatisfied, some of the fat from the right eye can be removed surgically; or, you can have a little more injected under the left eye to even them out. All you should do at this point is contact your provider to make them aware of your concerns. Be patient, and the results will happen. Best of luck.Hope this helps,DrC
Fat in eyelids cannot be sucked out but it may surgically removed under careful direct visualization. Sometimes lower blepharoplasty may be an option. Another option may be filler injection around the fat to camouflage it. Consultation is required.
At 3 months you will continue to see natural resorption of the fat in that area so it is too early to consider having anything done. Sometimes a steroid injection can decrease the fullness but it typically is not “sucked” out. It can be surgically removed though. Follow closely with your surgeon and discuss options.
It's very difficult to remove grafted fat in the face. This is especially true in thin areas like under the eyes. Some people may recommend steroid injections. the anti inflammatory steroids can as a side effect cause fat atrophy(shrinking). This is a fairly rare complication and when it happens can lead to substantial hollowing.Probably the most effective option is direct surgical excision. The skin in the lower eyelid area tends to heal very well with minimal scarring for the most part. This is an unfortunate fairly common occurrence. You are the second patient this morning was posted a question with the same concern. Many plastic surgeons are reluctant about grafting fat in this area.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD

I've used fat grafting to correct traumatic and congenital lip deformities with excellent results. Fat grafting is an excellent permanent choice to revise uneven or bumpy lips. The only question is whether some or all of the bumps could stay and be covered over by fat. Or if they are large en...
Thank you for your question. At 4 days it's still to early in the helaing process. Swelling should star going down as weeks go by. Just be patient and wait, if you have any concerns, contact your surgeon.
