I had my consultation with my doctor and he was fine, he told me I would need a lift along with implants to achieve the fullness I was looking for. Well I went in today to pick a size and I wasn't recommended a size by him and I was helped by an assistant. Is this normal? Should I keep looking? I had no idea what size would be good for the look I was trying to achieve. I was told to pick a few I like and let the surgeon determine which was best.

It is always best to communicate with your surgeon to make sure you are both on the same page. If you still aren't comfortable after that, then a different surgeon may be a better fit for you.

Answer: Size For my patients, we both choose the size during the consultation or the preop examination. I want my patients to be happy and not surprised. If you truly don't know what you want, then let your surgeon pick for you. However, if you don't really know what you want, then perhaps you don't really want surgery.
