I do realize that you’re sixty years old and previously had a child. By closely looking at your pictures it appears that you do not have much excess skin therefore I do not think you need a tummy tuck. I would suggest instead you have VASER liposuction. VASER liposuction will help to melt the fat around your abdomen and especially around your waistline. It would be ideal to try to achieve an hourglass figure. Also, the VASER will help with skin contractility and maximize skin recoil. In my opinion, VASER is the best option for your liposuction. I do not think you need muscle plication or removal of the excess abdominal skin. In my opinion, VASER hi-def liposuction will benefit you best.

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a better candidate for liposuction rather than a tummy tuck. You don’t have the requisite amount of skin excess for a tummy tuck. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your questions and photos. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. I would recommend a modified mini lipectomy. I would also recommend liposculture as a body contouring procedure to define more your abdomen and waistline. Congrats! You look amazing at 60!!! Based on your pictures, I agree that it does not seem that you have a lot of excess skin. In this case, liposuction alone may be a good choice to improve the area of concern (waist line). However, you should be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon that can closely evaluate your skin tone and laxity. Your overall health and active medical conditions are the most important when deciding if you are a good candidate for surgery rather than your age. Good luck!

Thank you for posting with photos. First of all you look great! You do not have enough skin for a full tummy tuck and a mini tummy tuck will not give you what you ar looking for. You do have some lose skin and some fat. I believe you will be better served with 360 Vaser lipo. Lipo will give you a smaller waist line and better curves, and the Vaser will help with skin contraction.

Based on the photos and your request for a waistline I recommend liposuction for body contouring.
If there is skin laxity at the lower abdomen under your clothing a mini tummy can be helpful, however this isn't mentioned by you as an area of concern.
An in person consultation will be helpful for you.

Unless the photos are deceiving me, it appears you'd be a good candidate for liposuction and possibly a skin tightening procedure called Renuvion. You are thin but have deposits that straighten your torso's silhouette, this can be improved upon by removing some fat (liposuction), and in some cases, adding fat (fat grafting) to enhance the overall contours of your torso (and buttocks).

Are you really sixty.? From the photos you sent I’m not sure you even need a tummy tuck. A better way to assess is to see how much loose skin you have while leaning over it sitting
