I travelled from the UK to have a breast reduction with Dr. Afet Oncel Bozkurt, and I’m genuinely so happy I made that decision. From the very beginning, everything felt smooth and professional. I had my first (free) online consultation with Dr. Afet, and right away I could tell she really knew her stuff. She was warm, kind, and most importantly—very honest about what results I could realistically expect.

After our consultation, I had no doubts and went ahead to book the surgery. The entire process was seamless. Dr. Afet's assistant, Deniz, was amazing. No matter how many questions I had, he always answered quickly and made me feel confident about my decision.

When I arrived in Istanbul, all my transfers between the airport, hotel, and hospital were completely taken care of. The Central Hospital was clean and professional, and I also paid a bit extra to upgrade my hotel, which turned out to be a great decision as I really enjoyed my stay.

On the day of surgery, I was picked up from the hotel and taken to the hospital for pre-op tests. Then I met Dr. Afet in person for the first time, and she did the markings. As soon as I met her, I felt completely at ease and knew that I was in good hands. I spent one night in the hospital after surgery, and I had drains in, which were removed by Dr. Afet herself before I was discharged and taken back to the hotel the next day. One thing to note is that the hospital nurses didn’t speak much English, but they were so caring and kind. We communicated using Google Translate, and they were always helpful and gentle.

I stayed in Turkey for 7 days, which was the perfect amount of time to recover and feel ready to travel home safely. Before leaving, I had a final check-up with Dr. Afet where she looked over everything and made sure I was healing well.

By the end of the week, I even felt well enough to explore a bit of Istanbul, which made the whole trip even more special. I travelled with a companion, and their stay was included in the price. Having someone with me really helped, especially during the first couple of days post-surgery, so I’d definitely recommend travelling with someone if you can.

Now I’m 5 weeks post-op and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my results. My breasts were a big insecurity for me since I was very young, and this surgery has genuinely changed my life. I feel so much more confident and comfortable in my body. Dr. Afet gave me clear post-op care instructions, and she’s continued to be available for any questions since.

If you’re thinking about having breast reduction surgery, I 100% recommend Dr. Afet. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly skilled. The whole process from start to finish was smooth, supportive, and completely worth it. I’m so grateful to Dr. Afet and her team for everything—they’ve helped me feel like myself again!

Dr. Afet is a very skilled surgeon, she is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. The whole team in this clinic is kind and helpful, it was a smooth process coming from overseas to perform my procedure.

It's been 8 full weeks since my surgery. I had breast fat transfer with fat taken from the abdomen, sides and inner thighs. The final result will be visible in a couple of months, but I really like what I see now. I had asymmetry and wanted to increase my breast size by 1 cup,but was sceptic if this could be manageable after one session. For now i can say that my breasts are 1 cup fuller than before though i still fit in most of my bras. Asymmetry is not completely gone but was corrected quite well for one session.
As for lipo, I got rid of the annoying fat layer in the lower abdomen and it makes me really happy. There are still minor irregularities that I feel under the skin, but this should go away closer to the 3-month mark.
I can surely say that Dr. Afet as a real professional, starting from the consultation to the after care period. She is always very patient and answers all the questions professionally, leaving no question marks. I can highly recommend her if you are looking for a plastic surgeon in Istanbul. I should also say that the whole organization was great: drivers, hotel, clinic. All done well and caring.

From the first contact to the care and communication post surgery, Dr Afet Oncel and her team were excellent.
Communication was always really clear, prompt and helpful. I had an online appointment with Dr Afet so we were able to discuss my ideas and requirements very clearly, and meeting Dr Afet in advance this way helped me feel confident about the procedure and what to expect.
Once I was in Istanbul everything went very smoothly and I’m very happy with the results. What stands out for me is also Dr Afet’s level of care. She made time to see me several times after the procedure before I flew home, to make certain everything looked good and that I felt safe and happy. She has continued to check in and I send photo updates as I continue to heal.

The information about her clinic and what she could offer was reasonable for this competitive market.I approached the clinic through email and had a consultation with Dr Aftet Oncel,. She listened to the changes I wanted according to my ethnicity and face shape which was really important to me and information exchange photographs was informative l. The procedure iI required reflected the costings which helped with decision making . Concerning the package, it consisted of the hospital stay, the tests, the hotel, taxi’s, aftercare advice and meds were all provided The staff at the hospital, Dr Afet Oncel and her team were all fantastic!

I am really pleased with my results and currently recovering , at one week post operative.

It has now been 5 weeks since my 9.5 hour surgery with Dr AFET and I could be more pleased!! I had a breast reduction, face and neck lift done. The care I received by Dr AFET and her staff including the drivers were second to none. Dr AFET is a perfectionist which shows in every detail of her work. My best friend has been a nurse for over 30 years, and even she couldn’t believe the time and care she took before my surgery with her drawings on me making sure everything lined up properly!

I have now been home almost 3 weeks and she has still been in touch regularly. When I have had any questions she has answered me within minutes except if she has been in surgery.

My breasts had been an issue ever since i began developing. My confidence, self esteem and comfort were incredibly low. not being able to wear strapless dresses, bras - always needing heavy duty bras for anything as well as not fitting anything properly ever due to the asymmetry. surgery was on my mind since 12. I began researching thoroughly when i was around 21 years old and came across Dr Afet.

my experience was truly great. I travelled from australia to turkey to undergo this surgery and they took care of everything from transport to accomodation and the hospital stay. All my questions and queries were answered and Dr Afet and her team stayed in touch with me post op as well as providing thorough instructions.

Healing was truly so simple and straightforward. I had 0 issues or complications. i was nervous that i may suffer infections or sutures becoming undone however none of this occurred. The incisions healed beautifully, and are barely visible now. Post op pain was also non existent - the only discomfort i felt was directly after the surgery and i would describe it as pressure. this went away immediately the next day. Overall i cannot imagine this surgery going any better than it did.

i am so incredibly happy i chose Dr Afet. she is knowledgeable and understanding and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. As for the results, well i believe it speaks for itself. i dealt with severe asymmetry and sagging. She was able to correct the asymmetry despite the huge difference. Nearly 2 years later, they have settled and dropped into a gorgeous natural shape, but still perky and full. i can honestly say that this has restored my confidence entirely.

From the very first consultation I was given all necessary information of the surgical procedure, my size preference was taken into account and all questions answered satisfactorily, which made me feel reassured to go ahead with the procedure.The entire process was explained thoroughly and was 100% transparent, the hospital and nursing staff were all very helpful and professional and made our stay very easy..
