Hi , I’m currently suffering from pcos and hypothyroidism which caused me to gain so much weight I wanted to know if I was a candidate for lipo and BBL. my testosterone is very high because of my pcos.. but I don’t look like I weigh 220 at least I don’t think I do my BMI basically 35 I feel like maybe I can get down to 215 by the end of this month or 210 but if I don’t can I not get my surgery?
Answer: 5’5 220 pounds 24 years old Female - I wanted to know if I was a candidate for lipo and BBL? (photo) If the conditions are controlled with medication and you are healthy, lipo and the BBL can be performed. Your plastic surgeon will have to obtain approval from your internist or endocrinologist. Having a BMI of 36.6 puts you in the obese range and increases the risks of complications before and after surgery and less than optimal results.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear Contrerafuturedoll, Generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a BBL, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. Based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: 5’5 220 pounds 24 years old Female - I wanted to know if I was a candidate for lipo and BBL? (photo) With a BBL, the more fat you have to transfer, the more fat we can deposit into your butt (provided that you are within a healthy weight range). When there isn't much fat to take from the abdomen, flanks, bra rolls and/or thighs, but they are looking for a voluptuous bottom, then they can gain a healthy amount of weight in order to produce more fat to transfer. It is important to remember, however, that even a small amount of fat can make a subtle, yet noticeable difference with a BBL. Small amounts of fat added to the buttocks can help shape it, but the contouring provided with the liposuction can give people a curvier shape, even with minimal volume. Always seek out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for the best results.

Answer: 5’5 220 pounds 24 years old Female - I wanted to know if I was a candidate for lipo and BBL? Thanks for your question. You appear to be a good candidate for a brazilian butt lift. When planning a Brazilian butt lift, patients can look forward to a double benefit: reducing areas of unwanted fat while gaining a perkier, rounded posterior. Each procedure must be planned according to the individual needs of patients, harvesting fat from target areas of the torso, thighs or knees and transferring it to create smooth, attractive contours optimized for each person. If you lose a few pounds and get as close to your goal weight before surgery the better your results will be.That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
