Question

I didn’t have huge boobs before breast augmentation- they were bigger and then I lost a bunch of weight— but when wearing any bra I always had cleavage. Now my breasts are so hard even when wearing a tighter sports bra or regular bra there’s a gap. I wanted a boob job to make them fuller and give better cleavage not separate them

Great question!  You are only 5 weeks from surgery which is very early.  It takes 3-6 months for the implants to drop and the muscle and skin to relax to the point where the it appears more natural.  Continue to see your surgeon for followup and follow their recommendations.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.

Early in the recovery following breast augmentation, the breasts can appear tall and tight. The muscle stretch can distort the cleavage during the first 3 months. I expect this will slowly improve over time. Hang in there.

The answer to your question requires further information.  If you are less than three to six months out from surgery you can expect the breasts to continue to soften and the look may become a little more natural.  Other things that can impact the way the breasts look are weight gain/loss, age, and pregnancy/breastfeeding.  I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Hello and thank you for your question and photos. I know this can be frustrating as you are still healing and your body is adjusting to the implants. I often have to remind my patients that while they may feel better, her body is still recovering and changes will occur for several months after surgery that can impact the appearance and "feel" of implants. 
My best advice is to give yourself time to heal (3 months minimum and up to 12 months), follow-up as suggested by your plastic surgeon, and make sure to bring any of your concerns to his/ her attention.
