I have tuberous breast and want to get a breast augmentation to of course fix the shape but to also have bigger breast. I am hoping for maybe like a full c cup.I want cleavage but also don't want to be too heavy.I had a consult where the dr suggested 400cc as the biggest he can go, but I'm wonder since if that's too small since I'm 5'6 and 180lbs....
Answer: Implant size and type Dear Neednewboobs_13, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast aug size Hello thank you for your question. Its a common question. We configure the best size to go with based off your breast width. You should go in for more sizing and see what you like. Of course without a proper physical examination it is difficult to assess and give you accurate advice. You should seek in person consultation with your plastic surgeon.

Answer: He is right! You can't go bigger because you don't have enough skin to stretch for the implant to fit. It isn't possible to force a larger implant in. and if you're doing a lift at the same time it means even less skin. Its just not possible. I would probably say no larger than 355.

Answer: Implant selection Implant selection is a detailed process. During a consultation with your surgeon your breasts will be examined and measured. This information will be combined with your surgical goals to help select the correct implant for you. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. From your wish photo you may need larger than a 400cc implant to achieve that particular look. I have included a video I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Larger implants Implant selection will depend on your measurements and any intraoperative release of breast tissue. We frequently use sizers during surgery to confirm implant size. You may be able to use larger than 400cc. Continued exams and consultations with plastic surgeons is recommended until you feel comfortable with your expectations, options, etc.

Answer: Tuberous breasts; shape or size? First goal is to correct look of narrow, tuberous breasts and correct small asymmetry, since one breast is slightly larger. This needs to be done through an incision around areola (to reduce size of areola as well), to correct narrow, tuberous shape. Augmentation with implants is to follow; they should be placed underneath the muscle. You have to understand that due to a small, narrow breasts, you do not have mature, shapely skin envelope; it has to be developed in time with implant. Also, you may not achieve shape presented in model, ever, since your given breast shape is very different. Regarding breast shape per se, volumes between 400 and 500, for example, do not make any difference! In person consultation with at least 2 board certified plastic surgeons who have some experience in this particular reconstruction, is recommended. Good luck.
