size 34 B each 100 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change.400 cc implants would take you up 4 cup sizes
to a F.400 cc implants will not fit
retro-pectoral, will extrude inferiorly and laterally requiring revision.I always recommend small round textured
silicone gel implants placed retro-pectoral since they look and feel more
natural, are more stable, less likely to ripple or have complications needing
revision.Implant profile is irrelevant
in the retro-pectoral position since the muscle compresses it.22% of women who undergo breast augmentation
require revision within 2 years because they are dissatisfied with the
result.A frequent cause of

Thanks for your question and picture. Implant size is largely dictated by your base diameter because the implant must "fit" on the chest. Once the diameter is chosen then you can look at the profile. A high profile provides the most volume and projection but the trade off is that it looks very round. The wider the implant is the more it will sit in your arm pit area. Hopefully you and your surgeon can find the ideal size for you. I'm betting a 350CC medium profile will give you the result you want. Best of Luck!

Good morning!Sizing implants can be thought of as a series of tradeoffs.  One must balance desired size with whatever anatomy they may possess, as well as tissue elasticity and breast tissue shape.  It is a common misconception that any patient can be any size they want and still look good- so much depends upon the above factors as well as surgical skill.Looking at photos is always difficult to tell about appropriate size ranges for you and the type of look you are going for, but I would say that a 400cc implant would push you beyond the "did she or didn't she get an augmentation" question into the "well- look who got a breast augmentation!" realm.I hope this helps

The size should fit your anatomy, make sure your surgeon has picked an implant that matches your tissue dynamics so you can have a succeful long term outcome

400cc will make you a full D or DD. As long as you felt comfortable with the sizers on during your consultation, I believe you will be very happy with your end results. Please also do not get caught up in cup sizes as cup sizes vary as your chest band size changes. i.e. a 34D is going to be significantly smaller than a 38D.

That is a very personal decision for you to make. Rule of thumb is always go larger than you want...

Man I love this question. So, your surgeon should be guiding you as to what will fit your frame. It is not as simple as asking will a 400 cc implant be too big for you. What is more important to ask is will a 400cc implant be too wide for my chest wall. Implants are picked based on what we call the base diameter of your breast. I have written on this topic a million times. You need to know what the base diameter measurement of your breast is. Ask your surgeon. Then you need to know what the base diameter of the implant is. If your breast diameter is 13cm and the 400 cc implant has a base diameter of 15 cm then it is not the right implant for you. To get a 400 cc implant that has the base diameter of your breast might then mean going from a lower profile implant to a higher profile implant. That is because as an implant moves higher in profile the base diameter gets smaller. So you need to know what is your base diameter and then look at the different profile implants. Then pick the one that fits your breast and gives you the look you want. My point here is that you don't just get to say oh, i liked 400cc implants or I want 500 cc implants. The reason is those implants may not fit your frame, and can then cause long term complications.

If the sizers looked good, and your surgeon did measurements to assure that the implants were appropriate to your breast anatomy, then it sounds like you have a good fit. The implants will probably look just a bit smaller than the same size of trials worn over the breasts.All the best. 

If you thought that 400 looked ok and the dimensions of the implant are appropriate for your body, then it is probably ok.
