I'm 5'6", 149lbs, and 22 years old. I exercise three times a week between cardio and weights, eat right in healthy portion sizes, and stay away from sugars and fats and have been doing so for years. However, I have an apple shape so any fat stores around my middle. I want to get liposuction for a smoother back and defined waistline that exercising hasn't done. Is 22 too young for such a cosmetic procedure? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Answer: Liposuction
The age of 22 is not too young to have liposuction. You also probably have better quality skin than older individuals which may give you better skin retraction. It is definitely worth going for a consultation to find out what can be achieved. Good luck.

Answer: Apple shapes and liposuction
You sound like you're making good efforts at a healthy lifestyle. You described yourself as having "an apple shape." Some "apples" store their fat behind the muscle inside the body where the organs are located and that fat isn't available for suctioning. That storage pattern is genetically determined. Only fat that is between the skin and the muscle can be reduced with liposuction.
Unfortunately, I've seen prospective patients who were told by inexperienced physicians that they'd get the results that they want even though the fat is mainly inside the body and not between the skin and the muscle. Be sure to see a doctor who has a lot of experience with liposuction.
Being 22 is not too young for the right candidate with a good understanding of a healthy lifestyle.
