Liposuction is not the answer to losing 100lbs of fat, hire a nutritionist and a trainer with the funds. Once you lose the 100lbs lipo can be used for contouring or you may have to have a tummy tuck due to the sagging skin.Good Luck
I think that you have two options. You can invest in a personal trainer and start improving you exercise routine and diet habits. This is your best choice. The cost of this will be determined by the personal trainer and or weight loss program that you choose. Your other option might be with gastric bypass surgery. You would need to find a gastric bypass surgeon and see if you are a good candidate. The cost could be quite variable depending upon whether this needs to be paid out of pocket or with the help of your insurance. If you are 100 lbs overweight, you are not a good candidate for any cosmetic surgery. Liposuction is not very effective as a weight loss tool and can be quite dangerous.
One of the great myths of liposuction is that it can be used to lose weight. Fat is just not very heavy and the amount suctioned off, even in high volume cases, is never more than a few pounds. If a person came to my office to seek liposuction because he or she is 100lbs overweight ( as your question states) the conversation is pretty straight forward. Use the money you intended to spend in my office on yourself. Invest in a physician directed weight loss program, work repeatedly with a nutritionist and find a personal trainer who is going to keep you invested and motivated. That will cost less and make your life dramatically better than I can. While you lose the weight, keep me posted. Email me your monthly results so that I can help you monitor your progress. When you get to that goal, come back and see me. Lets work together at that time, not to get you to your ideal weight, but to make you at your ideal weight look fantastic. Helping weight loss patients look how they feel is among the most rewarding things I do. Get out there and make your story remarkable.Best,Dr. Pyle
How long does a #CompressionGarment need to be worn to help after #Liposuction&TummyTuck? For most, my patients wear garments for 3 wks day and night then 3 additional weeks for half a day.If you have had suction of the knees, thighs, or abdomen, the doctor will have put on a compression...
Certainly, the hernia is not zero risk, but I do not believe you need to be exceptionally concerned about it and its presence is not likely to compromise the quality of your operation. What it does suggest, however, is a weakness in your abdominal wall. If you are getting liposuction to...
I do not know of any reasons why having your thyroid removed would prevent you from being able to undergo liposuction surgery. You need to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon and determine if there are any other reasons why you would not be a good candidate. Hypothyroid conditions are...
