Loss of elasticity and sagging
Answer: Some 80+ year old patients might benefit from Ultherapy Age alone, is not the only criteria to determine if you are a candidate for Ultherapy. I have seen some patients in this age group whose skin elasticity has been preserved better than some in their late 40's whose skin was weathered by sun exposure. The skin's elasticity and photodamage are more important than the age of the patient as important parts of the equation for Ultherapy to work. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. Answer: Ulthera at age 80 Ulthera helps to tighten the skin by stimulating the production of new collagen. At age 80 there is usually a significant loss of both elastin and collagen. If you have fine wrinkled skin you will probably not see much difference after an Ulthera procedure.

Answer: Ultherapy Good candidates for Ultherapy have mild to moderate skin laxity. This procedure targets the deeper layers of the skin to promote the new production of collagen, which helps to correct skin laxity. Ultherapy will not give the same results as a surgical face lift. A consult with a board certified plastic surgeon will let you know if you are a good candidate for this procedure.

Answer: Unless you have EXCEPTIONAL quality of collagen- No. As above. The best results with Ulterapy is the ability of contract collagen. In most octogenarians, the quality of collagen and elastin is not the best, I have done several video on treating patients over the age of 80- fillers and CO2 fractional lasers do best. Dr Davin Lim.
