Hi, I am on my 3rd Picosure laser treatment for my Melasma. Recently I started using Neo Strata's 15% AHA Gel Plus at home, in hope of lightening the melasma further while i'm on Picosure. But after 2 weeks, I noticed the Melasma darkening slightly... I read up that AHA and Retin-A are meant to assist in lightening Melasma. So can we actually use it in conjunction with Pico lasers? Or should i only use them after I've completed Pico? Please advise, Thank you very much.
Hello there. I have done pigmentation laser using Pico for my 2 dark spots around my eyes last week..exactly 7 days ago. The scabs has peeled off but now I realise that the skin is still dark. I have consulted my dermatologist yesterday and he said I need to wait further for full results. How long I need to wait as I'm kinda worried. I am an Asian with mix parentage (Chinese-Indian) so my doctor said Pico is the best for my skin n assured one treatment is enough for me. Shall I be worried?
I did picosure on my entire back for acne scars about a month ago. The doctor then did something a little more aggressive and it caused scabbing of the area after a week, here is what it looks like now, it has faded a little but Im worried this will stop. Is this normal?
So its been a month since my 1st PicoSure treatment. After two weeks the spots looked good almost totally gone. But now a few spots are starting to darken a little, not as dark as before treatment. Is it normal for spots to darken a little a month after your first treatment? Will a second treatment, or even a third remove the spots completely? Will the spots continue to darken even more? Or is this all the normal process of the treatment? Ive also been using HQ 4% post treatment.
Will 2nd treatment fix this? I had a pico treatment on a temple sunspot with very good results. I then had a treatment on a cheek sunspot. It's been 2 weeks. It looks like the center of the sunspot is darker but the outer part did break up a bit. Why is the center darker? Does pico bring pigment closer to surface initially? Will a second treatment break it apart?
Ive had 4 picosure focus treatments for melasma around eyes. The melasma has lightened a bit but the area under my eyes (on orbital bone) is much darker now! Ive been trying all the non hydrquinone products w/o results. Ive been on Meladerm now for 2 wks w/o much change. There seems to be many positive reviews and Im wondering if doctors know/recommend this product ever. Does this really work or am I wasting my time? Please help! Im very self conscious about this problem under my eyes! Thank U!
I just got picosure focus done on upper arm. There are small concentrated dots of brown in certain areas. Also some areas look darker. Its been 48 hours since the laser. Is this temporary? How long will it take to heal?
