Is hyperpigmentation or darkening after PicoSure normal? (Photos)

Question

I did picosure on my entire back for acne scars about a month ago. The doctor then did something a little more aggressive and it caused scabbing of the area after a week, here is what it looks like now, it has faded a little but I’m worried this will stop. Is this normal?

Its best to give it more time for the pigment to subside.  Follow with your doctor during this time.

As you can see in your photos, it will improve with time. The most important thing is to use an excellent sunblock since you definitely do not want to tan this area. You can continue your picosure treatments, as soon as the hyper-pigmentation fades. The Picosure is the best laser for hyperpigmentation.david berman md
