	26 y.o. with asymetrical tuberous breast deformity requested improvement in the appearance and symmetry of her breasts. She underwent a breast augmentation with a circumareolar mastopexy on the right with 375 cc moderate plus saline implant overfilled to 400cc's under the muscle and a periareolar augmentation on the left with a 375cc moderate plus implant overfilled to 450cc's under the muscle.

Woman treated with Breast Augmentation

This is a 22 year old woman with a tuberous breast deformity. This refers to the fact that her right breast is significantly smaller than her left, it is constricted and pinched at the bottom, and the breast tissue herniates or pushes through the areola and nipple. It requires at least 2 stages to correct. Although she had a normal left breast, she wanted to have an overall augmentation. I first placed temporary implants that are inflatable (called tissue expanders) beneath the chest muscle (pectoralis major muscle). I had to release the underfold of the right breast to have symmetric contours. I expanded the implants over time to stretch out the pockets. Then, months later I replaced the tissue expanders with permanent silicone gel implants and brought the areolae (nipples) into a more symmetric position.

Tuberous Breast Reconstruction and Augmentation

This 25 year old female consulted with Dr. Greenberg wishing to address the tuberous nature and slight ptosis of her breasts. She was unhappy with her current breast size and shape, wishing for more fullness and ideally a full C cup size. After a thorough conversation with Dr. Greenberg and evaluation of her pre-operative anatomy the patient understood that she may be limited with how large of an implant could be placed due to the tuberous nature of her breasts. As you can see from her pre- and 1 year post-operative photos, the patient had achieved her goal of a full C cup size and is significantly more confident with her breast shape.

	This 35 yo woman, 5'5tall, weight 125 pounds was unhappy with the lack of breast fullness and sagging she developed after pregnancy. Pre-operative breast size was a 34B-cup. Examination demonstrated a mild tuberous deformity, some breast skin laxity and grade III ptosis. Three and one-half month post-operative photographs show the results following a bilateral dual plane-one, sub-pectoral breast augmentation with Natrelle high profile, smooth, round (325cc) silicone gel implants. A circumvertical breast lift was performed for additional shaping and proper nipple-areolar complex positioning. Post-operative bra size is a 34C/D-cup.
