The explantation is a surgery, mainly reconstructive, with aesthetic goals (in our patients). It allows immediate aesthetic reconstruction with the patient's own tissue. It is almost always painless, the scar is L-shaped. The cleavage area is scar-free and the aesthetic result is adequate, stable and consistent. The anatomical shape and the projection of the neckline is independent to the volume even if the tissue is too much or too little due to the BRALAN Technique.

This lovely patient is shown 3 months post-op from mommy makeover consisting of a breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and liposuction. She came to me after hitting a plateau along her journey to a slimmer physique. Oftentimes, diet and exercise are not enough and surgery is needed to tighten muscles and remove excess skin. Her implants were smooth, round silicone and they were placed in a dual-plane to allow a small amount of lift. Here, you can see a huge transformation.
