This is a lovely 54 year old patient who had mastectomies for breast cancer. I performed complex microvascular reconstruction of her breasts and she was so thrilled that she wanted to look younger in her facial features. I therefore performed a facelift, lower blepharoplasty, browlift (forehead lift), and necklift. The technique I use for the facelift is a “high SMAS” approach – this is a very technically demanding method that few surgeons are comfortable performing. I have found that the elevation and plumping effect of the cheeks is excellent and consistently safe and reliable. I removed some fatty tissue from the lower eyelids and then removed excess skin. For the browlift, I performed a “limited incision browlift” which elevates the outer part of the eyebrows. She has a very balanced, harmonious, and natural result.
