Eduardo Gongora, MD

January 5th I had a second procedure performed by Dr. Gongora which included a secondary breast lift, implant replacement, scar revision from the tummy tuck performed in May 2022 and abdominal liposuction. I returned to Dr. Gongora due to incredible experience and result from my first procedure. Once again, Dr. Gongora and his entire team nailed it. He went above and beyond by removing excess skin observed at my abdomen and gave me the breast augmentation I dreamed of. I am 6 days post op, feeling great and I am already excited about my results. I could literally write paragraphs about how wonderful he is. One thing I experienced during this procedure that I didn't experience with the first one was I was given a text number to contact 24/7 if I had any concerns. 4 days after my procedure I texted pictures of my incisions and received a reply within 30 seconds. Genesis Clinic and their entire staff are truly remarkable. They will be my referred and my go-to surgical center for life!

I initiated a consult online by sending photos with the patient coordinator Jessica Vega. She was so sweet and responsive from the start. She was a reflection of the care that I'd receive throughout my procedure. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Doctor, pre-op, op, and post-op care. The Doctor, Clinic, and entire staff are top-notch. I received a tummy tuck, 360 lipo, and fat grafting. Aside from being absoultely in love with my results and the doctor going above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the results, I was and still am amazed by the attention and care that I received. The staff is very warm, professional, knowledgable, hospitable and comforting. I have had prior procedures in Beverly Hills and did not receive a fraction of the care, satisfaction, or results that I received from Genesis. I recommend Dr. Gongora and the entire Genisis staff without hesitation. They are truly the best in the buisness. I would NEVER go to or recommend another Doctor or surgincal center other than Dr. Gongora or Genesis. They deserve 10 stars/ unicorn status. I have had Breast Surgery and Liposuction and Butt implants from Dr. Gongora, let me just say, what a great experience from start to finish, from the girls in the front of the office, to the whole staff in the surgery center, have been nothing but outstanding. My surgery, went so well, but my results have been amazing. I would highly recommend Clinica Genesis, to anyone who is considering plastic surgery.

I found Dr. Gongora on here actually. I had never thought I could get extensive plastic surgery because I had always assumed costs would be through the roof, and I was skeptical about results because they were never consistant-with the minor research that I did.
Randomly in March of this year (2021), I had a friend decide to get a procedure done in Tijuana and at first I was scared for him, and thought it was crazy, and dangerous. It turned out great, and he came back and told me how great it was and that Medical Tourism is huge down there and how much more affordable it was.
On a whim I decided to look into it more. I had a different friend who recommended a Plastic Surgeon in Tijuana and I started looking him up, while I was looking into him, Dr. Eduardo Gongora popped up. I saw the many positive reviews so I had to check him out. I IMMEDIATELY knew he was the doctor I wanted. He was experienced, board certified, his work was natural, he was safe. I especially loved how much attention he paid to the details of things, which showed me his personality and you cannot teach a person those kinds of things. For example- His office is FILLED with art. I wanted my plastic surgeon to be into art because- they themselves are performing a form of art. He requires all of his staff to wear the same color scrubs every day, and it changes every day. It shows he likes organization, order, and it looks good. All of these things are things people don't always notice or pay attention to, but I do.
Aside from those details, Dr. Gongora's actual work, his before and afters are very consistent. He doesn't have pictures of people standing up in the before, and then laying down in the afters. He doesn't have them without make-up in the before, and then dolled up in the afters. He makes it consistent and that is also very important. I learned in the process of getting my procedure that Dr. Gongora himself takes the photos so he can show and appreciate the results. I highly value him for that.
Long story short. I looked into many many doctors in mexico, because as I said in the beginning I was scared and thought having surgery in a different county was crazy. Dr. Gongora and his staff made me feel very comfortable.Even though not all of them speak english (I don't speak spanish), they always will try and help you. They will ALWAYS pick up the phone. I read reviews from patients of other doctors who had a hard time getting hold of the clinic after they came back to the US post-op. I was scared that would happen so I tried and called them from different numbers at all times, morning, evenings, weekends, etc just to see if i ever had a hard time contacting them, and no they picked up EVERY SINGLE TIME. I also opted to stay at his clinic for 5 days after surgery which i HIGHLY recommend. I know someone who did not stay and ended up having a lot of complications because she wasn't able to take care of herself as well as they can when you stay.
One thing I will note is that when I started this journey I thought I could get away with just Lipo and not get a Tummy Tuck. Dr. Gongora explained to me that he would not just do Lipo on me, and in fact he recommended a Circumferential Tummy Tuck, which means it would go all the way around. I was initially horrified, and wanted to find another doctor who could just do lipo. After EXTENSIVE research (Trust me, I literally do medical research for a living) I agreed with Dr. Gongora. If I only got lipo, I would not be happy, I would have a lot of skin left over. I watched a recorded lecture Dr. Gongora gave where he had a slide that said patients will not care about the scar because they will be so happy with the results. I was skeptical but I am very happy I went it. My results are AMAZING. I cannot believe the difference when I look at my pictures.
I also want to commend the anesthesiologist that works there Dr. Agustin Roa. He is also board certified and he was amazing. In mexico, I read that it is more common for them to do epidurals for these types of surgeries than general anesthesia. I was scared of this because I read that some people wake up, and I did not want that to happen with me. I spoked to Dr. Roa and he explained to me that they do a combination, and so you're asleep but it's not general anesthesia and then they do the epidural. I did not have to see or feel the needle- which was another concern of mine. It literally was a snap of a finger. I woke up and I thought they didn't do the procedure yet- I was so confused.
I cannot recommend Genesis clinic enough. I have already referred 4-5 friends and my BF is also interested in getting some work done, and he was initially against surgery in another country, but now he said he only wants to go to Genesis clinic.

I came in and got a bbl , breast lift, circular tummy tuck and lipo of the inner thighs and arms! It was an amazing experience . The staff is so sweet and they care for your every need. The surgeon really cares for his patients and he does amazing work. Pain was at most a 7/10 on the first day, but it got better everyday and now a week later I have no pain. Getting up and walking again takes some time, I'm still not walking 100% upright but it's totally worth it. I had everything already taken care of when I did the all inclusive package, and the pre op tests are mostly painless.

I just posted a review. Here are a few pics. One is before my tummy tuck, the second one with the hearts is 2 months post op and the last one is 2 years after my surgery.

I did just get lipo and bbl again from dr.gongora. I'm still bruising and swelling and don't feel like taking selfies. I go in to get my stitches out this week and I'll post pics then!

December 2017 I had a full circular tummy tuck, lipo and BBL with Dr.Gongora and I was so pleased with my results. He's truly amazing! I gained a little bit of weight within the last 3 years which gave me some back fat and added a few inches to my waist. I decided getting a 360 lipo and second BBL done would be perfect!

I reached out Jessica earlier this year, sent some pictures, got a quote and just had everything done on Tuesday. Pre-op and Post-op, the office staff were always very professional and attentive to my needs. Especially Yolanda. They make you feel extremely comfortable and are very caring. I only stayed 1 night at the clinic, before I left Wednesday afternoon Dr.Fongora, Sergio and another one of his assistance came to my room to answer any of my questions and were just so genuinely nice and informative.

If you're looking to get work done, I highly recommend Dr. Gongora. I had 2 other consultations in Mexico with other doctors for the lipo and BBL I just had. Mainly because they were cheaper but after discussing the postop care and the pre op requirements with them, I decided that saving a 1,000 or 2,000 isn't worth getting mediocre service. I'll post pictures tomorrow! I did a review a few years ago after my procedure with pictures but I'll be sure to post my most recent before and afters.

Satisfaction beyond expectations
Dr Gongora had to fix a job gone wrong by another surgeon with lack of professionalism, knowledge and work ethics, Dr. Gongora had no doubt he could rebuild my nose as well as my ears, many doctors decline problems caused by other surgeons which are never easy to correct and it’s unsure what to expect in the process.
All I can say that at Clinica Genesis I had the opportunity to have a remarkable experience and excellent results, the knowledgeable staff are the best and make you feel at home, Im fortunate to have come across the best of the best in many trades, Dr Eduardo Gongora is the best in his field, what he did came out to a perfect scale to my face and body, thank you dr. For not being afraid to work on me as I’ve heard you give it your best to each and every patient, I made the right choice and was 100% satisfied with the results.
He said at some point at a consultation, you are brave to come here and ask for all this work, I though to myself, no not brave, I’m smart and confident to put my life in your hands.
I consider myself successful in my field with 30 years experience and many people behind me, I wouldn’t have put myself In his hands if I wasn’t absolutely sure.

Had my first butt surgery in 2012 .
After 7 years I finally decided to replace my implants with a bigger size also having a fat transfer for a fuller look. I'm skinny and I never really liked how the first implant came out , still having a small buttock look.

Hello girls

I had my first buttock surgery in 2013 but didn't felt quite confident with my results so I decided for 2020 to enhance my butt with bigger implants.  Im pretty petite 5'1 , 103 LB so my goal is to still look natural and like model type body. With my previous implants I felt I still didn't look like I have a booty , specially with tight clothes I didn't like the projection.  It been 5 days since my surgery I haven't te any pic of the after result but I'll post them soon once my drains are remove. De. Góngora made an amazing job I feel I do have a feminine figure now. He put 450 vol implant and made the liposuction in waste and back , reforming the waist.  I honestly can say Dr. Góngora and his team and of course his clinic it's superb , I'm so happy I choose him all the team has been in quick response to my needs before , during my staying at the clinic and of course after.

8 days after surgery still swollen

Just got my procedure on Monday. I waited 9hrs to get into surgery, not happy about that. I haven’t taken too many pics but I’ll post a few. The pain was really bad when I got done with surgery but not bad after that. I had to walk with a walker the first day but now walking on my own; although hunched over

I’m probably going back to do scar revision and tweak a few things here and there. I haven’t been taking too many pics, just haven’t been in the mood with this whole covid thing. My butt isn’t as bigger but my body looks so much better!!! I have hips, I can sit and workout. I have a life once more. I know most girls that want the implants won’t listen to me cuz I know I wasn’t trying to hear that shyte when I wanted mine; but don’t do it!!! Especially not in the states. I can’t speak on the soft implants but the hard ones suck!!!
