From my consultation til today my entire experience was amazing. Dr. Alexander has such a warm and welcoming demeanor you feel so comfortable and trust him right away. His entire staff were all so nice, made me feel comfortable and safe (I am a wimp and was scared). I was in and out within a few hours. I did have bruising for a while under my eyes (I have migraines often and had to take meds like 2 days prior to my surgery, I think this is why, it's a blood thinning medication). My eyes didn't hurt at all, I felt fine but they looked not so pretty and the nice thing was Dr. Alexander replied to every text or call (and I got mine eyes done during the holidays). Anyway... needless to say I am beyond thrilled and I feel so much younger and confident, my eye bags were bothering me for years. The only regret was not doing it sooner. Next up... mini face lift!

Dr. Alexander is a fine and very experienced triple board-certified Plastic Surgeon. His attention to detail and meticulous expertise was exemplary. He was always calm, very reassuring and my post op care was excellent. Alexus Surgery Center is fully accredited by the American Association of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities using board-certified anesthesiologists. This is often overlooked whether IV sedation or General are used. Being a retired OR,RN.Bsn these are very important considerations for surgery. In addition, Dr. Alexanders staff are top notch, the RN’s for my pre op and aftercare were exceptional in every way. My results are fabulous. I could not be happier with my Deep Plane Quick lift, neck, ears lobe revision plus added procedures. I’m getting so many compliments and look 10+ years younger.

Plastic Surgery Experience with Dr. John Alexander – Alexander Cosmetic Surgery

I am a 67-year-old Caucasian male who used the services of Dr. John Alexander at Alexander Cosmetic Surgery in February 2018. I received a necklift and lower face lift to remove a large amount of excess skin and to tighten the remaining skin. Over the past year I had lost 65 lbs. through diet and exercise. My health greatly improved but my weight reduction resulted in my neck and lower face having this excessive skin problem.
I approached Dr. Alexander for consultation in November 2017 to discuss my problem. He recommended a surgical procedure to reduce and tighten my neck and lower face as my best option. Dr. Alexander stated that my condition was very common, and his practice performs this surgery almost every day. In addition, Dr. Alexander is extremely confident in his abilities and a very communicative person who wants you to understand all aspects of this surgery. When my discussion was finished, I knew that I had chosen the right doctor for my surgery.
My surgery date was in February 2018 and the outcome was extremely successful. I was surprised that I only had 1 day of pain after the surgery as I expected a couple of painful days. Also, as Dr. Alexander had described, I did have numbness and tightness around the surgical areas which dissipated over time. The swelling on my face and neck from the surgery went down after 1 week and I could resume work after 2 weeks.
In summary, everything that Dr. Alexander told me to expect was correct and there were no surprises. The team at Alexander Cosmetic Surgery is exceptional. They want you to be comfortable and have all your questions/issues addressed. I feel blessed and honored that I found Dr. Alexander. I see his results everyday when I look in a mirror. My personality is outgoing and vibrant and I felt much younger than I looked!
At 62 both my chin and my eyes were "dragging". My main goal was to have the finished look be as natural as possible. During initial consultation, Dr. Alexander was very professional and personable and answered all of my detailed questions.
I am now 2 months post surgery and the results are fantastic! I had chin and lower face lift as well as upper and lower eyelids. Everyone is saying I look so young and rested but my new look is so natural not one has suspected surgery! Pain has been minimal and I have healed quickly. Dr. Alexander is an exceptionally skilled artist and I could not possibly be happier. I wish I could show you all my new chin!
I give only the highest praise for Dr. Alexander and all of his staff. Each of my pre and post op visits went so smoothly and exactly on time. All the staff are efficient and helpful. When I called Cindy with post-op questions she answered them all carefully with the most soothing voice ever.

Dr. Alexander is not only a very talented plastic surgeon, he is a kind and honest person as well. I had several opinions from four well known doctors about my sagging upper eyelids. Dr. Alexander was my choice. I found his approach to my concerns conservative and minimalistic . It was exactly what I wanted and needed to hear. His stuff was easy to talk to and very sweet to me. The procedure went fast, painless and I was sent home with a new pair of eyes. I cannot tell you enough how much I love them after about 6 weeks after I had it done! I look restful, younger and feel great! A full recovery takes time but the results are wonderful. Dr. Alexander is a true artist in what he does! Take my advice and let him help you.

If you are considering a procedure or surgery I highly recommend Dr Alexander. He's amazing and caring, has a wonderful "bedside" manner and actually called and text messaged me after my surgery! The staff are trained professionals and are quick to answer calls and questions no matter what time of day! Cynthia was an absolute blessing through this whole experience. I live in Florida and flew out to San Diego to have laser on my face and chest along with an upper/lower Bleph, neck/face lift and earlobe reduction. He was recommended to me by friends and I'm so grateful that they encouraged me to see him. Dr Alexander is an artist and made me look 10-15 years younger without making me look like I had anything done. I look so natural that my closest friends couldn't tell that I had work done....they said I look "rested" and happy

I am so grateful to Dr. Alexander. After having kids and breastfeeding, I had lots of stretch marks and the shape of my breast changed dramatically. I had a "Mommy makeover" a tummy tuck and breast augmentation and I now feel I have the best body ever. My surgery had no complications, the after care was easy and the support from Dr. Alexander and staff was phenomenal. I decided to do the surgery with him after three of my friends had surgeries there. After seeing their results, I knew I was in the best hands in San diego. I am just asking myself, why i didn't do it before.

Dr. Alexander is absolutely amazing as is his staff. I had a "Quick Lift" done and am incredibly happy with the results. I look 10 years younger and did not even need to take a pain pill. Dr. Alexander even came in the office on Saturday of a holiday weekend to take my stitches out and called me at home to check on me after the surgery. His nurse and staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. I was told exactly what to expect and now look refreshed and love that when I ask for my senior discount, no one believes me. Dr. Alexander is the best. I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone who wants to erase the years and be given all the time and attention and reassurance that is needed when plastic surgery is being considered.

Had a face lift done by someone else and still wasn't happy about the outcome of my neck! Dr. Alexander gave me a "Gentle Lift" to my lower face and it turned out great! Very happy with his work. He has also in past done some other procedures to me. All came out great! He's the go-to best surgeon!!!
