This 42-year-old patient sought improved abdominal contours to enhance her midsection. On examination, she presented with moderate abdominal lipodystrophy, excess abdominal skin, and rectus diastasis (separation of the abdominal muscles).Dr. Delatte performed a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) to tighten her abdominal muscles, remove excess skin, and create a firmer, smoother profile. Additionally, 500cc of fat was removed through liposuction in the stomach area, further refining her contours and achieving a balanced silhouette.

33 year old female 5 months after a tummy tuck. Her height is 5 feet 1 inches and her weight is 153 lbs. She has two children.

This patient was in her late 40s and wanted to improve the appearance of her abdomen.  She had had previous abdominal surgery through a vertical abdominal incision and was unhappy with the appearance of the abdomen and the flanks.  Because of her contour as well as the previous vertical abdominal incision, we chose to proceed with a fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty with liposuction of the flanks, which means that in addition to the low horizontal scar she also had the vertical scar.  For her, it improved the appearance of the vertical scar that she previously had and also helped with her overall shape and contour.  She is shown before and 4 years after her surgery, which was performed by Dr. Hampton Howell.

This patient presented with several concerns, including breast asymmetry, with one breast larger than the other, and a desire for smaller implants. She also expressed frustration with persistent weight retention in the mid to lower abdomen. Her preoperative diagnosis included excess abdominal skin, rectus diastasis, flank and trunk lipodystrophy, aging breast implants, breast hypoplasia, and breast asymmetry. After a thorough consultation and evaluation, Dr. Delatte proceeded with a comprehensive surgical plan that included a full abdominoplasty, bilateral breast implant exchange, trunk and flank liposuction, and combined fat removal from the axilla.The breast implants were exchanged for saline implants, with 325cc placed in the left breast and 300cc in the right breast to address asymmetry and achieve a more balanced, natural appearance. To improve the abdominal contour, a full abdominoplasty was performed to remove excess skin, tighten the abdominal muscles, and correct the rectus diastasis. Liposuction was performed to address localized fat deposits, removing 1150cc of fat from the left flank and back, 1200cc from the right flank and back, and 1050cc from the abdomen. An additional 350cc of fat was removed from the axillary region to create a smoother, more defined overall contour.

Patient had irregular skin from a previous liposuction (performed when she was not a candidate for that procedure), which was fixed with a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, full liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks. Breast Implants were also inserted at the same time.

This 48 year old woman is 5' 9 and 160 pounds. She has had one child via C-section. She had pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy and gained a significant amount of weight. She has lost the weight but this has left her with a lot of loose skin. We began her mommy make over with an abdominoplasty, (tummy tuck), and liposuction to the flanks, (love handles).
