This is fully ablative Co2 and erbium laser resurfacing. The results are pretty good. I work with 30 different lasers and energy devices, and for patients with poor collagen, non- surgical treatments such as Thermage and Ultherapy (I use all these devices), do not give the same improvement in skin texture and tone as old fashioned CO2 laser. The downside, unlike Ultherapy, downtime is approximately 10 days. My ethos is results driven, so I will always pick a method, rather than a machine to deliver the results. Laser resurfacing stimulates collagen and removes sun damage. Fractional laser resurfacing will not deliver the same results.
