Implant sizing with a bra as well as 3-D imaging was performed. The patient liked the addition of around 400 cc of volume. We selected the Allergan style 20 400 cc implant with a base width of 11.9 cm.

She had grade one ptosis (sagging) and therefore could have benefited from an augmentation-mastopexy. However the improvement in her nipple position and breast shape from a mastopexy (lift) would come at the cost of scars on her breast. We decided the best option for her was to accept a slightly lower than ideal nipple position in order to avoid the additional scars from a mastopexy (lift).
