She enjoys frequent weightlifting; which was a significant factor in her deciding to have her implants placed above the muscle, (sub-glandular/sub-fascial). This 24-year-old woman wanted to transform her 32A-cup bra size into a C cup. She scheduled a consultation with me at my practice wanting to learn more about breast augmentation surgery. Like most breast enhancement patients, her biggest concern was ensuring a natural-looking result rather than an oversized appearance.Given how thin this patient was, I recommended using silicone implants for the most natural look. During her surgery I tried a few different sizes, but felt that the 275cc Mentor smooth, round, moderate-plus profile cohesive silicone gel implants looked the best and could give her the natural-looking increase she wanted. The implants were inserted through an upper areolar incision and placed underneath the chest muscles to help ensure a natural, aesthetically pleasing look.This woman recovered very well from her breast augmentation surgery, with very little discomfort or swelling. This 44 year old mother decreased her weight from 260 pounds to 174 pounds after undergoing a lap band procedure. She complained of significant breast drooping and lack of fullness, and also of loose and bulging tissues in the abdomen. She had large rolls in her posterior hips and mid back. She underwent a traditional mastopexy, or breast lift, and combined with 450 cc silicone implants. An abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, was done, and liposuction of the back and posterior hips was performed. The post operative photos were taken about two months after the surgery. The scars will continue to fade over the next one to two years.

This is a 29 year old female who presented to my medical practice with interest in breast augmentation. This patient was overall happy with her shape, but she wanted to have fuller breasts.I recommended a breast augmentation with silicone implants placed through the areolas and under the muscle for the best and most natural result. In the operating room, I used Mentor smooth, round, moderate-plus profile cohesive silicone gel implants.Postoperatively, the patient did quite well and was very happy with her natural, fuller breast appearance.

This wonderful patient lost volume in her breasts after weight loss and wished to regain her confidence. We decided to perform a mastopexy with implants. This combines a breast lift, which addresses the sagging, with an augmentation, which addresses the volume and projection. We used silicone implants placed under the muscle.
